Creating complementary colors?

Another one for the bookmarks. This time it's the free, Flash-based QuickColor. Three sliders produce six boxes of colors that complement each other nicely. Accepts RGB input as well and always displays the #Hex value. I'm goin' there often.
A thought: It might be nice if pop-up color wheels, palettes, etc. would know the context in which they were to be applied and started by default with complementary colors for that context.

w0rd chris! I've been using that tool for a while and its great. I too want an offline version of it for picking paint, matching my outfits outfits, finding a lazy-boy that matches my front room, and trying to figure out what color ties match with what color shirts and jackets! :P

Awesome! When the Macromedia folks came to watch us, I actually went on this rant about the pain that is my color-choosing life and how dreamweaver should have a color picking rapid preview tool. This will tide me over, but I gave them a sketch of something to let me click click click to change my CSS colors and see the results with no more than one click per color change. Or maybe such a thing already exists?

Also worth a look is Colormatch. Pretty useful too.
