Beta release of the Microsoft SOAP Toolkit Version 2.0
The accompanying release of Web Services Behavior for Internet Explorer 5.0 is a marketing wedge. I'm sure that there are developers out there who will take advantage of this proprietary client-side scripting solution. But why don't the people who create this sort of one-way option feel really, really dirty when they return home from work? Was there really no way to make this work cross-browser? No...really? Not even some sort of Java bridge...?

A thoughtful even-tempered response to Microsoft's "Linux myths" article. Disclaimer: I like and use many Microsoft products.
