The Anatomy of a Large-Scale Hypertextual Web Search Engine "In this paper, we present Google, a prototype of a large-scale search engine which makes heavy use of the structure present in hypertext." I live for documents like these.
Over at Glish, Eric proffers the term The Google Wide Web to more accurately describe the circumference of the internet that is conveniently accessible.
Speaking of Google, I'm kind of happy that dealership is the top of a one-word Google search.
And finally speaking of the band: we're playing at a BBQ show today at San Francisco's Bottom of The Hill. What the hell am I going to wear to this show? Last time: easy. cut a heart-shaped hole in the front of a t-shirt and stick some sort of colored shirt beneath it. (my idea, btw) So I called Chris:
Me: "What are you going to wear?"
Chris: "Um, you haven't left yet?"
See. Attention to detail is hard.
(Just kidding, btw, 'cause y'all know that Chris just stressed about what he was going to wear too...)
