Jacques and Julia race to their wine glasses
Lazing about watching Julia & Jacques making something with meat. And wine. Always wine.

In the photo Jacques is on the left. Julia is on the right. Jacques is just a little bit faster, isn't he? He is younger; an unfair, arbitrary advantage.

I wonder what integer would result from a tally of Julia's glasses of wine over her lifetime.

Julia is older and has a lifetime of culinary expertise. Which seems a fair and desirable advantage. Even if she doesn't like this glass of wine the memory of wines past must make the current selection a richer experience, no? Is that true with everything?
