Israel v. Palestine v. My Sanity

On the issue of Israel v. Palestine, I think that "The Chauffeur" is Duran Duran's best song.

Note to self: Given present misery, there doesn't seem to be many situations more sensitive or more in dire need of resolution. Beginning to research The Tragic Situation a little, but haven't yet heard someone outline a scenario where any sustainable peace could be achieved. Palestinian civil war? Full Isreali occupation? Two states? International peacekeepers? Ignore the problem and hope it goes away? I can't think of anything, but being far from being knowledgeable about global politics, any ideas I would have would neither help nor hinder the situation. Hmm...ineffectual, muddling, American-middle-class...yes, that sounds about right. :) Please stamp my passport "Concerned But Politically Impotent And Probably A Bit Shallow." To my dismay.

In News and Rumors That Don't Involve Death or Terror: All I have to say is...

The Shadow tells me that San Francisco may be able to expect a Death Cab for Cutie and Dismemberment Plan show. And, and, and, AND! Adult with The Faint.

Shhhhhh. They're just rumors. I just hope the Music People don't realize that I'm also this Web Persona. "They" don't have modems, or broadband, or even jobs, though. I ... think.
