XML could be very useful

XML could be very useful in applications which do not involve any sort of networking. But many parsers require the existence of an external URL in any given DTD. Hm. I agree with this post from Mr. Murray-Rust, that unless there is some impetus for change in the behavior of these parsers which, as a default behavior, require the existence of an external DTD and attempt to resolve the address, it will be harder for developers to accept XML as an interoperable solution.

Study Finds Dementia May Affect Musical Tastes. I could add a self-deprecating wisecrack, but would they really be any better than the gems you have likely just imagined?
