Making stuff as a founder of Avocado. Former music-maker. Tuna melt advocate. Started Google Reader. (But smarter people made it great.)

Programmers feel strongly.

Some fun (of the non-scientific kind) with Google Code Search.

"ie sucks": ~8,000 results
(Update: Something weird happened. The search for "ie sucks" no longer returns a large number of results but instead only returns around 50. I wonder what changed?)
(Updated update: The larger result set is back again. Results are inherently fluxy, aren't they?)
"mozilla sucks": 6 results
"opera sucks": 2 results
"safari sucks": 1 result
"fuck ie": 2 results

Programming Languages / Documents
"java sucks": ~50 results
"c++ sucks": ~50 results
" c sucks": ~50 results
"php sucks": ~20 results
"python sucks": ~20 results
" xml sucks": ~5 results

Operating systems
"unix sucks": ~10,400 results
"windows sucks": ~9,000 results
"os x sucks": 2 results

And then, just some fun for the Google Reader team:
Ben Darnell: ~50 results
Misha Dynin: ~50 results
Laurence Gonsalves: 6 results
Mihai Parparita: 5 results
Chris Wetherell: 4 results

It would make me very happy if all google's products supported regex searching ^_^. Not that that's, like, a big deal to implement, right?
